June, 2020 Monthly Meeting – Recording

Here’s the link to our June meeting. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=5YuR-e6XswE&t=3s We had a wonderful meeting with the exception that we began late because of a computer crash. We may have lost of few of you. So this recording may be especially useful. Tracy Klein discussed summertime mite treatment and she also reviews space management in the hive. And we had a speaker from WSU, Kelly Kulhanek, Ph.D. who spoke about her research on Varroa population growth and mite transmission between apiaries. She also gave updates on recent WSU Bee Lab projects regarding use of indoor winter storage to improve colony health and Varroa management.
