February Meeting

PSBA’s monthly meeting on February 22nd at 6:30pm Dr. Dewey M. Caron Presents Bee Hive CSI: Dead Out Necropsy  Bee colonies die for a variety of reasons over the winter season. A Best Management Practice is to do a hive necropsy – examine the dead colony to determine a probable cause for colony loss. Such knowledge can help shape future management. Some colonies, while surviving, might be weak so I will offer some early spring attention that might improve their survival. Dr. Caron is currently Affiliate Professor, Dept Horticulture, Oregon State University and Emeritus Professor of Entomology & Wildlife Ecology, Univ of Delaware. Here’s the zoom link to next week’s meeting: https://zoom.us/j/91857816118?pwd=UXJlZkpMMWNuaWxtM3dxUVBXNENIdz09 Please join us! Everyone is welcome.
